Google might just pay Apple $ 1 Billion to be the default web browser of iOS instead of Safari.
The two companies apparently have a per-device deal in place rather than a revenue sharing deal, analyst Scott Devitt of Morgan Stanley wrote in a report titled “The Next Google Is Google.”
The fee-based collaboration was decided on in order to abridge accounting and also to allow Apple to collect upfront expenditures.
We all know that Apple and Google are opponents and associates at the same time in line for unequal rivalry.
A report from Morgan Stanley says that Google would pay more than $1 billion in the following year to endure Google Chrome as the default web browser on iOS.
In 2009, Google paid only $82 million for this specific opportunity.
