Microsoft Surface Pro Sells Out

It may be safe to say that the new Microsoft Surface Pro is a big hit, as CNET announced that it sold out at online Microsoft stores in the United States.

It was not necessarily anticipated to be that popular, but the Microsoft Surface Pro sold out online in the United States within just a few hours of being released.

The Surface Pro is a more powerful model than the original Microsoft Surface RT. It runs on a full version of Windows 8 instead of the version before, and the processor can actually handle the software. It may have already outsold the previous version, which was anticipated for this new, higher-powered model.

There have been some criticisms about the space available on this model, but that has not stopped the sales.

The return rates of the first version were very high, and the model sold less than 1 million within its first entire two months of its release.

Even though the price tags are fairly hefty ($900 and $1000), and they don't include the keyboard cover for the device, which adds $120 to the bill, they are still selling out very quickly.

The 128GB and the 64GB versions of the new Microsoft Surface are currently out of stock online for the Microsoft United States websites. The number that have been sold has not yet been released.

It is still available in Canada, though, but this may not last long. If you are interested, you can still get the computer offline at one of the retailers selling it.
