A New Pinterest

The newest social media website and mobile phone application on the market is already getting a facelift. Pinterest has announced a new website, and a small group of users are invited to check it out before it is released.

The Pinterest website blog has announced some changes to the site. They aren't incredibly different from the original site, but Pinterest believes them to be significant enough, according to an article on slashgear.com.

The changes will affect two major areas of the site in order to make it much easier for users. It is supposed to operate more smoothly. The changes will be to the navigation on the site and the pins themselves.

According to the site, they are planning changes that will make the navigation of the site much faster and much more intuitive, as they say. It will involve more personalization that will allow a use to access the things that most interest them.

Images show that there will be different navigation menus, allowing the user to restrict his or her searches when viewing different pins from others.

The pins themselves have been made bigger and easier to see. More information about them will be displayed below, making a lot more pins of useless or uninteresting material happen. That way, people will not have to go back and unpin items from their boards.

In addition to this, there will also be some related pins and pins from the same board displayed when you view an individual pin.

Pinterest has not announced when it will release the new changes, but it is currently testing them with an invited group of users.
