The teenage cast of the popular show "Glee" has gathered an extensive amount of fans, coined Gleeks. Now, the Iowa Gleeks have something to be excited for.
According to an article released on the Iowa City Patch, two members of the cast of the show are coming to Iowa City to contribute in the campaign efforts for President Obama tomorrow.
Kevin McHale, who plays Artie on the show, and Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina, will be visiting various locations in Iowa over the entire day tomorrow they are visiting to talk about voting early and President Obama.
The first stop in a series of several for the two stars will be the kick-off at University of Iowa. It is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and will be held at the Bijou Theater, located at 154 Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City on the University of Iowa campus. It is geared toward University of Iowa students.
The second leg of the short tour is also geared toward University of Northern Iowa Students. It will be held at 1:45 p.m. that afternoon at the UNI Sabin Hall in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The talk will be held in Room 2.
The third branch of the short tour will be in Des Moines, Iowa. This portion, entitled the "Not Just for Some, For All Event," will be held at the Davis Brown Law Firm on the 13th floor. This law firm is located at 10th and Walnut Streets in Des Moines. It is scheduled to start at 4:45 p.m.
There is no information about whether the starts will be performing.
