The presidential debates have reached their halfway mark with two completed and two more yet to happen.
Two debates are over, and people are still buzzing about them. But, it can't be forgotten that there are still two more to go, and the University of Iowa is getting very involved.
The debate between both of the vice-presidential candidates, Vice President Joe Biden and Representative Paul Ryan has been completed.
When will the next two debates be? According to the Iowa City Patch website, the next debate will be this coming Tuesday at 8 p.m. It will be shown by all major television networks.
Recent polls show that the president has a small lead over Mitt Romney as of now, though many people are still undecided. Hopes are up, though, that Obama's performance in this debate will be much better than it was during the first debate of the year.
The President received a lot of criticism for his lack of aggressiveness during the last debate, and many people have given the credit for the win to Mitt Romney, saying he closed a little of the ground in the polls during the debate.
The University of Iowa Student Government will be helping host a party to watch the next Barack Obama versus Mitt Romney presidential debate. It will be held on the University of Iowa Campus. It will start at 7 p.m. for the debate beginning at 8.
Everyone that attends the watch party will receive a free t-shirt that says "Voting is Sexy."
