Iowa City is Top Five

Iowa City has recently been ranked within the top 5 once again on a very prestigious annual list for college cities in the United States.

According to patch.com, in a list created by the American Institute of Economic Research, Iowa ranked fourth among the top cities in the United States where you can have a great college experience.

The list in its entirety states the top 75 cities out of 227 total, and is figured and released every year in a publication created by the American Institute of Economic Research.

The list of cities to have a great college experience is created based on many different factors that attribute to the college experience as a whole.

For example, it is based on the people the students will be able to meet, the jobs they can get into after attending the college, the academic environment provided by the college, and the overall quality of life in the city where the college is located.

Iowa City was located at number four last year and has returned at the very same location this year. It is not the only Iowa city on the list, either.

The top ten in the list are as follows:
1. Ithaca, New York
2. Ames, Iowa
3. State College, Pennsylvania
4. Iowa City, Iowa
5. Corvallis, Oregon
6. Ann Arbor, Minnesota
7. Champaign-Urbana, Illinois
8. Lafayette, Indiana
9. Lawrence, Kansas
10. Morgantown, West Virginia

The list in its entirety was published in the American Institute of Economic Research's College Destinations Index. Iowa City
