Obama Reaches Out to Iowans

President Obama has released a campaign video reaching out to Iowans.



According to the Urbandale Patch website, in the video, President Obama thanks Iowans for the support they have given him and urges them to vote early. He expressed a joy at being back in Iowa for the campaign.

In the video, the president also mentions the 2008 election. His win in Iowa was a surprise, and it is often speculated that this particular win played a critical role in his gaining the presidency.

The President's wife Michelle Obama was present with him in the video. She made a moving statement about Iowa as well in the video about how much Iowa means to her as the first lady.

There are also clips in it of Obama's campaign rallies in various locations, including Iowa City and Davenport.

This video has been released just in time because early voting for the 2012 election began in Iowa on Thursday. The president knows how important this state's six electoral votes will be once again.

Some polls show that the very close campaign in Iowa have Obama with a slight lead over Mitt Romney. According to reports, there was a large turnout in Iowa of Obama supporters. Many of these were students.
