$20K Warrant Issued for Mother Accused of Letting Her Child Drink

A $20,000 warrant has been issued for Natasha Kriener, the 26-year-old mother accused of giving her 23-month-old son alcohol. She failed to appear for her pretrial conference that was scheduled.

According to thegazette.com, Kreiner was scheduled to appear for a pretrial conference Friday, but failed to do so. A bench warrant has been issued for the 26-year-old mother, who will be turning 27 on Tuesday.

Kreiner faces felony charges of child endangerment causing bodily injury and neglect from an incident that happened in February leading to her arrest where her 23-month-old son was found to be intoxicated after the child's father picked him up from a visit with his mother.

According to reports, she was arrested on February 17 after her baby was taken to the hospital by his father two days earlier. He had been showing signs of intoxication that included crying and a lack of balance. While at the hospital, his blood-alcohol level was recorded at .097.

The investigation that spurred from the findings showed that Kriener's own blood-alcohol level was .251. The siblings, according to the report, told investigators, that the boy "drank pop and got sick." Kriener's charges stemmed from leaving alcoholic beverages within the reach of her child.

Two days later, Kreiner was apprehended for the crime that she committed and trial was set. She was formally charged, and the pretrial conference was supposed to be Friday. Kreiner did not show up for it.

A bench warrant was issued for her arrest, and bond will be set at $20,000 if Kreiner is arrested.
