Lead singer James Hetfield has released a public service announcement, which can be viewed on the ABC news website and an FBI website for the case, appealing for anyone to come forward with details about the case.

Morgan Harrington was attending the October 17, 2009 Metallica concert at the University of Virginia when she disappeared after getting separated from her friends. A case was opened then and the next year Harrington's body was found.

According to security cameras, Harrington stepped outside and was not allowed back in for some reason. Witnesses said she then left, and was not seen until her body was found in a nearby county.

According to the FBI, the sketch is of an individual that is also suspected for a sexual assault that occurred four years before this incident, making the man being searched for a predator.

Metallica's video asks for any information that pertains to the case and offers $50,000 for any information that will lead to his apprehension in addition to the original $100,00 being offered by Harrington's family.

The band has been on board helping the FBI and appealing to the public in literally any way that they can since Harrington disappeared from their concert. They, and Harrington's family as well, are hopeful that some progress will be made in light of the new sketch released.
